Vintage 100

SKU: N/A Category:

Our Vintage 100 kit is based on one of the most loved models, the Junior 60.  The kit has been developed specifically for Radio Control and as the name suggests it has a 100″ wingspan.

A fully detailed and annotated construction plan is included, along with an instruction booklet and a CD of build pictures to make the build simple.

The Vintage 100 is one of our favorite models to build and fly, the re-engineered design combined with traditional build techniques makes it easy and satisfying to build.  The design has also altered the wing and tail plane incidences to remove some of the ballooning characteristics of the free flight model.  The 100″ wingspan required a two piece wing, so that’s what we did, the wing has been designed with wing joiner locations, there is no guessing, its already been taken care of and forms part of the build.

The kit is comprehensive as you will see from the photographs, some of our competitors will provide a laser cut kit which only has a few parts.  Our kit has been re-engineered and includes a significant amount of laser cut parts.  The Vintage 100 is available as a Plan Pack only or with optional Wood Pack and optional Hardware Pack.  Opting for all three packs means that you only need to add covering and wheels of your choice.

Plan Pack includes: Laser Cut Poplar Ply, Birch Ply and Balsa Parts

Wood Pack Includes: All Strip and Sheet Wood, piano wire for the undercarriage (to be bent by the builder) and acetate sheet to complete the Airframe

Complete Kit: As above plus a hardware pack including fuel tank, hinges, horns, pushrods, metal clevises, closed loop ends, closed loop wire, ferrules, lock nuts, etc.

However please note, kits do not include wheels or wing joining brass tubes or piano wire inserts.

This kit is cut to order please allow 2 weeks for delivery, we will call you on receipt of your order to confirm.
